Doorking has introduced the Doorking Cloud and is beginning to roll out this new admin method for beta users and general users this summer. We are really excited about the features this new option brings. During 2020 there are no service charges but going forward in 2021 there will be changes. The new Doorking Cloud replaces the need for PC based software allowing multiple people to administer the site. This new interface retains Doorking’s legacy interface and settings. If you have used Doorking’s software in the past this means it will be simple to pick up the new cloud system. One feature I am excited about is the introduction of time zones. For our customers in other time zones we can tell the cloud what time zone they are in rather than relying on the PC computer every time we connect.

Doorking has configured the cloud interface to allow multiple users each with a unique login to access the system. This will allow people who are not responsible for the billing of the site to be able to administer. So for our property managers who have boards who want to do their own programming this will be a good option.

To use Doorking cloud you must be using an IP adapter or Cellular adapter and your account must be the one responsible for invoicing. Fortunately we have been actively encouraging our customers to move their systems to the cellular or IP adapters for several year. To read more on why this is check out this article.
